Boycott ABSOLUTs World, Absolutely

America is not ABSOLUT’s to give away, even as an advertising gimmick, this is way over the top and down right insulting. Boycott ABSOLUT Vodka Products. The ad is outrageously offensive and divisive, especially in light of the strained climate that exists between the countries over illegals and border encroachments by Mexican troops and drug traffickers .

Further, ABSOLUT exporters should have a universal embargo levied against their products and should be barred from doing future business within the USA or its territories; until they retract the ads and apologize to the US and Mexico.

Hello Damo, it's no where as nice as frozen Stoli's, but even so, they' been nipping at their own product a little to much and to often.

So, I'd say, you aren't missing out on much, but I don't know. Try it, if you start speaking Spanish after a snifter full, put the dogs on alert, they may be trying to annex your corner of the world as well.

Ruby, this is so sad, what if these maniacs decide to remap Alaska back to Russian? Who's going to teach all of these tourists how to speak Rusanglish?

It gives me nightmares when I think about the lower 49'ers trying to get their educational system back to normal after they gleefully reprint their school maps to reflect the change and then discover their error later on.

Hey, wait, if we give that area back to Mexico, can we get them to one up our entitlements?

Actually Brenton, I'm not sure that a controversy has been stirred up or will be until the mavens of news gossip pick up on it. It's a sad commentary when a populace waits for the drive by media to report on a topic and tell them how to react - based on a poll of some kind.

Some far right blogs have picked up on it. And have given out the details of the marketing manager of Absolut so all small minded people can write to him and complain about how insecure they are that they can possibly feel offended by a silly ad which was designed to make them feel offended.

Of course, in order to bag the ad all the websites are reproducing it.

Publicity that money can't buy.

ABSOLUT genius.
