Water Fueled Car ~ Sorta

June 15th 2008 18:42
Its Fueled with Water: Fill’er Up with Water Please, this water fueled caris so eco friendly . . .

It's a dream come true for a guy that lives in a coastal rain forest, and grudgingly pays $4.26 a gallon for petrol: A car that uses water, from virtually any origin as a source of fuel. I know what you're thinking, some sick twisted wanker with a ready to burst bladder is just gonna have to pee into the tank to see if it runs ~ we can flog his sorry butt later, well unless it was an emergency of course, but for now, dance in the street. Rejoice. Celebrate freedom from fossil based fuels and pray to whomever that they find a way to make the box of a car look a bit lot more sexier.

Japan's Genepax has demonstrated some real progress with the production of this water powered car, it uses membrane electrode assembly (or MEA), which contains a material that's capable of breaking down water into hydrogen and oxygen through a chemical reaction. Not surprisingly, the company isn't sharing tech notes, except to say that it's adopted a "well-known process to produce hydrogen from water to the MEA." I just hope that they find another designer for the butt ugly car itself. The power system costs about $18,700 and when in production should go down to around $5,000 ~ the car body, box, whatever that shell is, they should buy chassis from the Nano manufacturer in India at $2,500 a copy, or hire their engineers.

Here's a where you can learn more about the vehicle:

Here's the link to Water Fueled Car

This comes with flex fuel options, it runs on water from most sources, coffee, tea and of course the emergency option: bladder brine.

I doff my cap to the engineers, and beg that they smite the slackers on the chassis design team.

This concept is being challenged, meanwhile I checked out a nice little ute, great little picture gallery, bidding starts about $8500 on ePay but my adcents earnings didn't even come up with the cost of a tyre. Sorry about that.

If it works, it's apparently refill every few minutes or something.

Urine is not water which is simply H-O-H, urine is much more complicated and you'd need a hell of a bladder and persistent thirst.

Hope all my actions were worth something.

The green and the brown are nice, and all up it's restful, but I think the grey needs lifting a bit, see what you can come up with.

Just my opionion, of course.

Sorry, old chap, I'm speaking out of turn, it was the car that got me in, well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Rather presumptuous of the old fobzy, don't you think, Raven, but I think I match his colour concerns.

I actually think the grey needs changing, can you do a light brown, I'd like to see the brown edging preserved, or maybe a light green, but I think the brown, but you need to contrast the surround where your current brown is. I don't think you'll see fobzy again, he's that type of fellow.

The light grey around you may be able to be maintained.

No, go back to the light green, the pale grey rectangle around you may be OK, try replacing the dark grey by a light brown, but make sure you maintain the fine line border, even if you have to darken its brown, when placed next to a light brown.

Hmmm, I accidentally hit a wrong button, but I do like this teal color, but . . . I darkened up the brown grays...should I take this back to the olive green?

Now, go back to where we began,

preserve the light olive green,

preserve the light grey rectangle embacing YOU

Change the dark grey to light brown

make sure you still have the brown fine line surround,

if not, darken it so you do.

Got it? Well move.

If you (and I ) don't like it then, you can play as much as you like, I shall be incommunicado.

I await his Majesty's pleasure. Where do I send my bill, I'm sure you must be doing really well.

Hurry up.

How?

The electrical bonds that hold the H to the 2O requires an input of energy to breakdown.

The burning of H2 produces Water H2O.
There is a net loss in the process.

Perpetual Motion?
Damn that first law of thermodynamics.

Here, there appears to be a lot of this stuff going around:

Toyota Develops New Fuel-Cell Based Hybrid Car

It's a link.

Curses, the law has foiled the noble ambitions of mankind again Damo.

Ha ha ha ha ha ah ha ha ha, bill in flight, you sure like that dark grey, apparently it's gonna stay, you've improved things a little.

Now, Raven, run off with your water.

Check with the birds how they fly so low cost and environmentally friendly, well, except when they....... I don't think much of their sewerage systems.

At least we got the light olive green back, what you got against light brown?

Red/green colour blindness perhaps?

Light brown isn't a color option that I can find on the themes page katyzzz, does it have another name?

Comment by katyzzz

I see it does have another name, this is nice, but I think perhaps the grey is more compelling, even if not colour co-ordinated. It's your blog, up to you.

This brown is too brown, but I actually thought I was calling in for hot chocolate which is a rich dark brown, but I seem to have picked the wrong blog, but the colour makes me want to sob.

Still, as katyzzz says, it's your blog, are you sure you haven't changed it yet again?

Lovely to see you looking so well. ( oh, and gamefully employed)

As for the car, we all know the electric car has been invented, just like stockings that dont tear. We all know what happened to those guys.
