Burmese Criminals

May 15th 2008 14:10
A Call for Meditation and Prayer for the Burmese People

The following list is of men who epitomize common criminals, thieves, slavers, extortionists, genocidal maniacs, and murderers that define the word despot.

They enrich and protect their family at the expense of their charges: may they be blessed ten fold with the karma they so richly deserve while still on earth. I invite and encourage everyone to focus on these so called leaders and meditate for their collective removal from office and that they are all held accountable for their treachery.

These men have demonstrated despicable and callous disregard for their own people; Pol Pot would be proud of them for purging hope from their citizenry.

I shall ask my wife to put a Sri Lanka curse on them.

May the always become ugly and never change their clothes from a horrible green colour.

From the little I do know about Buddhism they do have a Hell where the evil doers are punished rather the reincarnated.
I saw it on the wall of a temple.

Y'know Damo, I'd like to see them on the bottom of my shoe, so that I could scrape them off into a proper flushing receptacle.

Maybe in their next incarnation you will have that pleasure.

Here's hoping that the reincarnation thing will work one more time . . .

I hate mosquitoes Raven... but I'd been to Cambodia and was toured to the Killing Fields. I saw that big Acacia tree which they refer to as the Whipping Tree. And boy, is the "Stupa" filled with skulls of those who perished in that site during Pol Pot's purges? They are stacked several stories high in that glass walled building (Stupa).

Having heard the stories and seeing thousand of those empty eye sockets that are staring out into the fields where their bodies rotted - I wanted to scramble for arms and hunt that modern day Hitler myself.

It's a pity, despite all his atrocities, he died because of a mosquito bite that gave him that Malaria disease.

Well, flood waters eventually recede but here's hoping that some of Myanmar's little nook and crannies will remain wet so a swarm of Pol Pot killer mosquitoes can breed.

I'm with you all of the way on this one MN, the junta leadership has a lot to answer for.

When I go to SE Asia, I visit Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Malaysia, Thailand and will return to Vietnam for a bit. My son attends college in Bangkok, so I am concerned about what happens in the region.

It's gratifying to know that Pol Pot went out as the pathetic victim of an insect bite . . . justice was indeed well served.
