Thanks to the air travel industry, radio, television and the internet we are all truly poised to be A Global Citizen: now what?

Proustian Elitists and the Ostriches that love them

July 31st 2008 03:29
Individuals infected by infatuation, or something like love, are often blinded by full on hedonistic desire and fail to recognize the nuances of deceit and treachery because, like Ostriches, their heads are buried in the sands of ignorance and self absorption; making them easy prey.

The function of wisdom is to discriminate between good and evil.
- Cicero

Where did these predators come from and when? Here are my thoughts on the subject.

Smug and confident elitists, clones of socialist group think, are marching as lemmings to their vision of a Utopian world and attempting to drag the protesting, screaming and kicking Neanderthal minded masses with them, resistant or not, like it or not. They, alone, have the intellectual capacity to know what is best for trogs of this world. Serve up cookies for the unwashed masses; surely, not of Madeleine’s moist flesh, and never in this untimely moment.

Proud adepts all
~ acquiesce to their collective wisdom only at your own peril. Embrace the rhetorical covenants of nihilist influenced socialism and bury your recalcitrant desires for self government and the burden of independent liberated thought. They can pile your intellectual bodies up as quickly as any other practice, personality or system selectively chosen to be opposed. Come, smell the short sighted first blush of Proust’s novel; yet hedonistic desire, unrequited love and elitism remain as sacrosanct secret knowledge which is to be doled out as party favors. Hear their mighty collective roar with fear and trepidation.

With the conviction of education, pompous piety and self-righteousness they’ve come to reign in trogland rather than explore the world where true mental giants and pundits roam freely as savage beasts. They entered trogland as humble pack members, garnering favors of those that might otherwise view them as the entryst slugs that they are. Gathering sycophants and fans devoid of originality, spines; mindless drones willing to laud what they cannot comprehend or clearly see. Stroking, praising and verbally preening this flock of drones constantly, these entryst viruses have endeared themselves and are only now unveiling themselves as the piranhas that they are; vicious, cruel and willing to devour any and all that challenge.

Ostriches hide their head in the sand when a perceived threat approaches, they never know for sure if the approaching danger is real or ever leaves for that matter. With their heads in the sand and their posteriors in the air, how can true understanding manifest when only the arrogant Elitists are allowed to come? They never really understand who’s screwing them or how. They only care that the stroking, praising and verbal preening continues. Rejection banishes them to the dust of obscurity and for Ostriches and elitists alike, it's a death sentence.

Ah, stupidity, don’t you just love it . . .

Let me the first to form an elitist group with you.
Together we shall rule the future utopian world hat is being held back by childish notions of good and evil.
ps:
I have a very big sand pit for burying heads in.

Well done, Raven and Damo, as for the rest, some people just don't get it do they, and unlike their male counterparts don't know just when to hide it, so dumb, unfortunately too many females come into this category, thinking, stupidly, that they are liberated when in fact they are cast into their own bondage, poor hapless souls, why are they so anxious for everyone to know just how dumb they are.

p.s No ostrich has EVER been observed to hide its head in the sand. It's just one of many myths floating around that is repeated so often that people start to believe it. I can name a few more.

Ostriches do however, bury their eggs in the ground and during the incubation period will periodically turn them over, so perhaps this is where the myth originates?

Kaytzzz

Thanks for the compliment but Raven wrote it.
So I cannot take any credit for it.

Hello katyzzz, self imposed bondage serves no genuine purpose and harms us all by creating distrust between members of a species designed to survive as a singular whole.

Exactly Ruby; but have you ever observed them first hand. They are group think epitomized and the antithesis of empowered individualism.

Just the same Damo, I'm retaining my keeper of the mysteries title, buahahahaha.

Thanks Katyzzz and Raven.
The cool people call it an Avatar.
Who can resist Bladerunner?
I am surprised no one else thought of it.

Avatar, so that's what they're called.

Sigh, I never get to set with the cool kids, they're such brilliant elitists that they can't stoop to hang with the uncool caste. Someone ought to shed some light on the matter.
